Part of Jammu and kashmir belong to china and pak?

Srinagar: People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir released a power-point presentation called 'Vision on Kashmir' which showed portions of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by China and Pakistan. The presentation displayed Aksai Chin and Karakoram occupied by China, marked in red and parts of Kashmir occupied by Pakistan, which was marked in green. According to the PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti, it was for the first time that a mainstream political party had dared to speak about the regions under controversy and also said that the party was wanted Jammu and Kashmir to become a gateway for Central and South Asia.

\The depiction of the map brought a lot of disconcern to Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and he said that Mehbooba was in favor of Army rule in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that she wanted the Kashmiris to replicate like people in Egypt since her party stands as the opposition now. "Her statement smacks of sheer frustration and desperation. She mindlessly wants the people of J&K to somehow replace the present dispensation even if it is at the cost of handing over the State to the Army", said Omar.

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram was also not happy with PDP's PowerPoint presentation. He said that the party had done a big mistake by agitating people of Kashmir through map depiction and if it did not correct it, he would take action against them.

Mehbooba, who is PDP Chief leader had lauded the army's role in Egypt and even tacitly asked Kashmiris to rise in peaceful demonstrations for a change of government. Drawing parallels between the Cairo protests and last year's summer unrest in Kashmir, Mehbooba said that while the people in the most populous Arab country were not accused of anything, the leadership in J&K was dubbing protesters drug addicts and Lashkar-e-Taiba agents.

Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather and Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar, in a joint statement said that it was unfortunate that the leader of a political party is linking the 2010 agitation in Kashmir with the Egypt agitation and wants democracy to take a back seat and the Army to take over.

Mehbooba said that her party had not done anything to challenge the sovereignty of the country over the territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
